This policy explains how Huber Landscape Contractors Inc collects, uses and protects information about the people who contact us and the customers whose homes we service.

Information we collect

• Contact details — your name, phone number, email address and service address, given when you request work, book an appointment or contact us.
• Service records — the work we quote and perform at your property, appointment times, estimates, invoices and payment status.
• Messages — the text messages and calls between you and us, including your replies.

We do not buy contact lists, and we do not collect information about you from third parties for marketing.

How we use it

• To schedule, perform and follow up on the work you asked us to do.
• To confirm appointments, tell you when a technician is on the way, follow up on an estimate, and reach you when we miss your call.
• To invoice you and keep accurate records of the work performed.
• To meet our legal, tax and licensing obligations.

Text messaging

We may send you text messages about your appointments, estimates and service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Full details are in our Text Messaging Terms.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers who help us run the business, and only so far as they need it to do that job. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. These include:

• Our field service management software, which holds our customer and job records.
• Atrevio Inc., which operates our appointment and follow-up messaging on our behalf, and the telecommunications carriers that deliver those messages.
• Payment processors, and our accountants and professional advisers.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep customer and service records for as long as needed to service your equipment, honor warranties, and meet our legal and tax obligations. Records of opt-out requests are kept indefinitely, so that a request to stop messaging is not undone by a later record being added.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

• Stop texts — reply STOP to any message. It takes effect immediately.
• Access or correction — contact us and we will correct or provide a copy of the information we hold about you, subject to applicable law.
• Deletion — contact us to ask us to delete your information, other than records we are required to keep.

Children

Our services are directed to homeowners and property managers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always the one published at this address, and the date it was last updated appears at the foot of this page.
